Welcome to Gate 55 Community Centre: Programmes & Services
Gate 55 is home to the Sighthill Library. We also host a wide range of local groups and activities, with everything from kids' activities, judo and carpet bowls to knitting and yoga. There are advice and support services here, and a community food growing group in our allotment on-site. There's also an art room, and meeting rooms for hire. Adult Programme
Our adult programme is designed to help you stay healthy, engaged, and connected with the community. Whether you want to learn a new hobby, improve your financial situation, maintain your fitness, or simply socialize, we have something for you. Monday

6.30pm - 7.30pm: Colouring In Group at the Library: relieve stress and relax at the start of the week.
Tuesday

9.30am-1.30pm and 5-6.30pm: Sunflower Pantry Wester Hailes. Members of the community pantry can enjoy a basket of groceries at a very low price. Open to residents of Sighthill and Wester Hailes. Please find out more and learn about how to register with the Sunflower Pantry here.

11.30am to 12.30pm, Cosy Corner Coffee Morning in the Library: join us for a hot drink, friendly chat, activities and games.

1.30pm-3.30pm (September-April): Carpet bowls for over-55s: come and make new friends, no experience necessary: £1 including a tea/coffee and biscuit.

3.30pm: Tiger Tales in the Library : Stories and Crafts for children aged 4-7. The first Tuesday of every month is Zoo Tales, learning about animals at Edinburgh Zoo through stories and crafts; the other Tuesdays are Tiger Tales.

6pm-7pm: Zumba: keep fit with Terri. Contact Terri for prices and booking.

6.30pm-8pm: Narcotics Anonymous: Open to addicts and those who think they may have a problem.

10.30 - 11.30am: Chair and mat-based Yoga Class (All levels) . You must be referred to this class: email here for more info or call 07966 502 085.

1pm-4pm: Advice appointments with CHAI (Community Help & Advice Initiative) advisors - get independent and confidential advice and support with benefit applications, debt management, employability and more. Free: booking essential. Phone 0131 442 2100 to make an appointment in advance.

Around the Centre
At Gate 55 we have a range of facilities including the library (Sighthill Library), a sports hall, an art room, meeting rooms and other space for hire (including a children's room), and an outdoor growing area. Come in!
